rated 4 out of 5 8 GB card
by James T Kirk from Gaithersburg, MD, 2009-03-02

I have this camera, but for some reason it seems to have a limit of the size of memory card it can read. Nothing wrong with card, works in other camera.
Does any one have the same problem or I am doing something wrong.
Thanks

I needed a camera for my trip to new zealand. I have HORRIBLE luck with cameras as I always seem to loose them after I buy them so I needed a good camera at a good price that if I lost it wouldn't really matter. I've had this camera for over a year now and it has been wonderful. The pictures come out great! Yeah you have to use batteries but it's a small price to pay for a cheap/ great camera. I'd suggest buying rechargeable batteries. Im very happy I purchased this camera. Keep in mind, It isn't an HD HIGH quality camera. If you like all the bells and whistles of a cannon or whatever, this camera isn't for you. It's great but basic

rated 1 out of 5 wasted my money
by schoolgirl from alabama, 2008-12-30

I bought this camera in June and it has already quit making pictures. I feel I wasted my 69.00 on this because it has never made good pictures and now it is froze up.I can turn it on but have to take batteries out to turn off. As much as I read the manual I never could get the white balance right. It was always too light outside and sometimes inside if there were any lights on. I tried to go on the website to see if any troubleshooting hints might help, but it was not a site to go into.I don't know if they don't want anyone to go into there or what. I am very disappointed in this camera and have ordered a canon. My daughter just bought one and it is a world of difference to this one. I think I will be very happy with it.

rated 4 out of 5 Great camera for the price!

We bought this camera last summer as a gift for our 7-year-old son. We wanted something easy, with regular batteries (not expensive camera batteries) that didn't cost an arm OR a leg in case it got destroyed. It has been perfect!

He took it on vacation with his grandparents and came back with some surprisingly decent pictures (minus the ones of people missing heads;). The batteries hold up well, it fits nicely in the hand (little big for his, but that's good - too small and it gets lost easier), and is not heavy. The SD card is great, as I can just pull it out and plug it into my laptop to have any photos printed.

Night photos are not necessarily the greatest, but then again, he's not generally outside at night! As long as you're within a reasonable distance from your subject, then the photos turn out fine. Too far away, and it's a dark blur.

For the price we paid (gold box special, I think), it's been a terrific camera. My budding photographer has gotten great use out of it and will continue to do so!
